Registration for the 9th Edition of the Cascais Surf for Employees Program , closes next Monday, April 19th. This is a program aimed to unemployed people with a 70% success rate in returning to the job market. Approximately 80 people have already passed through the program.
The Cascais Surf for Employability Program created in 2019 consists of a process of personal and professional empowerment. The 9th Edition will take place in Carcavelos, Cascais, with sessions in class at Nova SBE, in compliance with safety standards.
Participants have surf and yoga twice a week, individual and group coaching sessions, listen to inspirational speakers and also have sessions in five key areas (management and planning, finance, economics and management, marketing and communication, entrepreneurship and active search for job). These sessions are conducted by professors from Nova SBE, a specialist from Randstad and from the Talent Promotion Division of the Cascais City Council and also by reference professionals in their respective areas.
After the CLOSING of registrations, there is a process of selection of candidates, led by Randstad Portugal. Each edition of the program receives between 10 and 12 participants.
This edition of the Cascais Surf for Employability Program has the fundamental support of Cascais City Council, Nova SBE, Randstad, Way Beyond, Sushi at Home, Billabong Portugal, CRQL – Lombos Praia, Power X by IC, Federação Portuguesa de Surf , ASSW Surf Academy , Surfrider Foundation Lisboa and is co-financed by the Portugal Inovação Social, Portugal 2020 e Lisboa 2020.
