16th Edition - Cascais Surf for Employability Program - Registration Open

Applications have opened for the 16th Edition of the Cascais Surf Program for Employability, which starts in February 2023 at the Nova School of Business and Economics in Carcavelos. This program aims to provide participants with personal and professional tools that promote entry into the job market. This program is developed by Associação Surf Social Wave together with Cascais Municipality, Nova SBE, Randstad, Way Beyond and other partners.

For 5 weeks, participants surf twice a week at Praia de Carcavelos, have yoga classes and individual and group coaching sessions. It also has sessions in different areas of knowledge, such as economics, finance and accounting, marketing and communication, management and planning, project development, digital tools, entrepreneurship and active job search. Trainers range from Nova SBE professors to specialists in their respective areas, in order to convey an academic vision, but also a more practical and objective vision of the world of work. The program also provides lectures with several speakers whose life story is truly inspiring.

The Cascais Surf for Employability Program has already received a total of 150 participants and has a 90% success rate in returning to the job market, of which 80% found a job and 20% undertook their own project.

The Surf Social Wave Association holds 4 editions per year. This edition will be the first of 2023.
