JobCamp - Cascais Surf + Future

Job Camp Cascais Surf + Futuro is an intensive 3-day program with the objective of training young people to enter the job market, promoted by Associação Surf Social Wave in conjunction with Camara Municipal de Cascais. The 1st Edition will take place from the 27th to the 29th of October and registration is open between the 20th of September and the 25th of October. 3 editions are planned until the end of 2021, with a maximum number of 14 participants per edition.

Surfing is the anchor of this Job Camp, which includes other physical activities that promote a healthy lifestyle, in a “healthy body” logic, as well as resilience, transformation and brain plasticity.

The program helps to promote self-knowledge and action based on discovering yourself and your purpose, helping to unlock your personal potential.

In addition to this, the possibility of listening to two inspirational speakers and also the acquisition of a set of tools and softskills that allow participants to reconnect to their professional path.

This Job Camp promotes self-discovery and helps unlock participants' potential, and includes Surf, Yoga, Guided Sessions on Self-Awareness, Purpose, Mapping the Path to Desired Work, Inspirational Lectures, a Walk and an Experimental Natural Gymnastics session and CrossFit.

After the program, participants can enjoy an individual mentoring session and a Jobshadowing session, which consists of spending a day with someone who performs the profession we want.

This is a program aimed at young people from Cascais between 16 and 30 years old who are unemployed, without studying or undergoing training.
